From little ones to elders
One message, many ages: your mind matters. Below is what we plan to grow once the Trust is incorporated — peer education and community programmes, not clinical therapy.
Kids need words for worry and anger before shame sets in. We plan school-friendly sessions, family journals-as-tools, and parent tips that fit Indian households — without replacing counsellors.
Study stress, identity, dating, social media, family expectation. Youth deserve spaces that understand desi culture and modern Auckland life.
Many adults (especially women balancing everything) carry anxiety quietly. We plan community workshops on burnout, relationships, and asking for help without guilt.
Loneliness and unspoken grief sit heavy. Elders deserve respectful conversation about mood and mind — in familiar language, with chai and company.
We are not psychologists, a crisis line, or a hospital. We educate, gather, destigmatise and signpost — including to 1737 when someone needs clinical or urgent support.
